Solar module manufacturer Innotech Solar (ITS) is now member of the French recycling association CERES.

The membership in the recycling organization allows Innotech Solar to take back used modules from its customers free of charge. "The partnership with CERES fits very well in our green concept as we are trying to integrate ecology friendly solutions in every step of our processes and furthermore in every phase of the value chain." says Dr. Thomas Hillig, Director Sales & Marketing EMEA at Innotech Solar. "With this partnership we aim to reduce the carbon footprint even more, as CERES recycles used modules for further use of valuable resources and raw materials."

The Norwegian firm Innotech Solar manufactures particularly environmentally friendly by purchasing low-efficiency cells and optimizing them using a proprietary laser-assisted process to achieve great cell efficiency.

Strict tests ensure the high quality of ITS modules. Innotech Solar is the only PV panel maker that actively prevents hot spots by taking an infrared image of each cell before and after the optimization process. The certifications ISO 9001 and 14001 are also a proof of Innotech Solar's extraordinary quality assurance and environmental protection management.
