Hans Lundgren

Hans Lundgren is an investment director for the Sustainable Technologies Fund. For 12 years Hans was Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Vattenfall AB in Stockholm, the 4th largest electric utility company in Europe. Previous to this position he built and managed an organization that invested in and owned generation assets in Latin America. Hans then became the Deputy Head of Business Area International and was responsible for all Overseas Investments at Vattenfall (in Asia and Latin America). Prior to Vattenfall, Hans was a management consultant for 10 years with McKinsey and Co. in Munich, Germany and then in Stockholm, Sweden. He also has experience as an investment manager with Industor AB, Stockholm, an undersecretary for planning with responsibility for privatizing Swedish state-owned companies at the Ministry for Industry and Commerce in Stockholm, an assistant science counselor at the Swedish Embassy in Bonn, Germany, and a research engineer at ABB in Västerås, Sweden. He has a broad business network in several different industries, primarily in Sweden and Germany. Hans has a Master of Science in engineering physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and Business Administration. Hans joined the Sustainable Technologies Fund during the autumn of 2008 as investment director and partner. Hans serves on the Board of Hexaformer and Triventus.
